Montepulciano D’Abruzzo grows on Italy’s Adriatic coast. And is one of Italy’s most popular red wine grapes, has thrived in Abruzzo since the middle of the 18th Century (Wine- Searcher website).

2020 Mont’Albano Montepulciano D’Abruzzo DOC is bright ruby red in colour wine, with aromas of blackberries and cloves and palate notes of lush and juicy. Full with cherries, blackberries, blackcurrants, and a hint of cloves. Soft tannins support the wine through to a long finish.

Nero d’Avola is the most important red wine variety in Sicily, and this variety is compared to New World shirazes, with sweet tannins, and plum or peppery flavours.

2020 Mont’Albano Nero d’Avola Sicilia DOC Deep red in colour. An intense aroma of mature fruit, forest-berries, and hints of violets and spices. Delicious plum and blackberry flavours complemented by a full body and supple tannins.

Friuli Grave (or Grave del Friuli) is a DOC covering a large area of land in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, between the Alps and the Adriatic sea, (Wine- Searcher website).
