Dhall & Nash Fine Wines was founded by Puneet Dhall and Brandon Nash in 2007. With over three collective decades in the global wine trade, Dhall & Nash source the finest wines from around the planet and deliver them straight to you.

We aim to provide the highest level of service to our customers and there are hundreds of wines for you to choose from. Choosing the best with you is both our passion and expertise. Our unique sourcing method unearths the greatest wines – a diverse and exclusive array of delicious treats, including the likes of Mountford Estate, Maison Ogier, Billecart-Salmon and Mollydooker.

Puneet Dhall
CHIEF EXECUTIVE
OFFICER

Puneet completed the Certificate in Wine Making and Grape Growing at Hawke’s Bay E.I.T. After a stint in the Cellar at Sacred Hill, he spent several years as a merchant in London working at “Fine and Rare Wines” – a foremost wine brokerage firm with an international clientele.

Brandon Nash
SALES MANAGER +
FINE WINE SPECIALIST

Brandon has a Bachelor’s Degree in Viticulture from E.I.T in Hawke’s Bay and served with Craggy Range for several years before starting Dhall & Nash. An authority to note for many events including masterclasses and presentations across the country’s most successful bars and restaurants, Brandon also regularly judges at Wine Shows across NZ, such as the Hawke’s Bay and Air NZ Wine Awards.

Victoria ‘Tori’ Haysom
ACCOUNT MANAGER
AUCKLAND

Tori has completed up to WSET Level 3 in wine and has worked in both the hospitality industry and wine retail for over ten years. She is passionate about wine and the stories behind them. You’ll find her either roaming the streets of Auckland with her bag of goodies or expanding her personal wine horizons at home.

Melissa Csigay

Originally from Rhode Island, USA, Melissa graduated from university with a degree in Business and Marketing. However, she quickly felt she’d be better placed doing something she was truly passionate about, so she moved to New Zealand and started her wine journey! Melissa has since gone from novice wine drinker to wine aficionado. She has gained valuable experience in the industry while completing her WSET Diploma and looks forward to sharing her passion for wine, the people who make it and the land it’s born from, with you.

Aliénor Moreau
ACCOUNT MANAGER
AUCKLAND

Aliénor comes from Pauillac, the birthplace of Bordeaux Grand Cru Classé wines. Her passion for wine is inherited from her father, a French master of vines. Her early experience in winemaking transitioned well into wine sales roles. Since moving to NZ, Aliénor reckons she drinks more Champagne than she did back in France, and puts it down to the bubbly kiwi culture! You’ll often find Aliénor in the kitchen, she is a keen cook and loves the experience of perfect wine and food pairing.

John Filmer
ACCOUNT MANAGER
CENTRAL NORTH

John is based in Cambridge and covers the regions of Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Taranaki. John has 30+ years experience in the liquor industry, including FMCG, which he brings to Dhall and Nash. John is an avid fan of Pinot Noir and Shiraz.

Francis Auclert
ACCOUNT MANAGER
WELLINGTON

Covering Wellington, Canterbury, Manawatu and Wairarapa, Francis is a Certified Sommelier from a hospitality background.
He has worked in many Michelin starred restaurants in France, London and Singapore and it’s impossible not to be charmed by his passion for wine, positive energy and French accent!

Owen Wood
ACCOUNT MANAGER
SOUTH

Owen is based in beautiful Arrowtown, covering Otago & Southland. With 40 years experience in the hospitality & wine industry in Australia, NZ, France, and the UK, Owen has a wealth of knowledge for wine buyers to tap into.
An appreciator of all wine but particularly partial to Chardonnay, Champagne, and Portuguese table wines.

Matt King
ACCOUNT MANAGER
CANTERBURY

Originally hailing from the South of England, Matt has almost 15 years experience working in hospitality and fine wine retail in the U.K. and New Zealand. Matt has a broad and diverse wine palate but with particular excitement for all things Italian. New to the Canterbury region, Matt is looking forward to exploring all the region has to offer.

Jack Wharton
SPIRITS AMBASSADOR + BRAND AMBASSADOR (Stranger & Sons Gin)

Originally from Manchester, England, Jack has over 10 years experience within the hospitality industry, working in bars around the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Jack has a passion for all things fermented, distilled and mixed! Whisky, Gin and cocktails being at the forefront, but he is a strong believer that all quality spirits and cocktails have a time and a place!

Jean-Jacques is French. Say no more! His passion for wine and hospitality combined with his indomitable personality make JJ a tour de force! Jean-Jacques has owned or been involved in the Auckland Restaurant scene for several decades.

Javiera Ahumada
MARKETING SPECIALIST

Javi hails from the Colchagua Valley in Chile, one of the most fertile regions in the country with an abundance of orchards and vineyards. She is a qualified professional in Marketing and Communications with more than a decade of experience in international companies including Public Relations, Marketing and Corporate Communications.
She has been exploring the world and finally landed in New Zealand to study for a Business Diploma. She loves a good full-body red, such as Carmenere.

Chris Tan
DIGITAL PRODUCER

Chris has over twenty years experience with the wine and hospitality industry, half of these were as a consumer and the other half with a hangover.
Raised by computers, Chris hails from a media background that’s included filmmaking, graphic design, stage production, programming and writing biographies in the third person.

Aimée Hopwood
GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Aimée is an AUT Design Graduate and our in-house Graphic Designer. She specialises in making everything that we present as beautiful as the wines we sell.
She enjoys sparkling wines and refreshing, crisp whites among friends.

Sonja Anich
CONTENT & EDUCATION SPECIALIST

Sonja has over 30 years of international and national hospitality experience in curating wine lists, wine education, wine sales and even in the kitchen cheffing! As our wine content writer, educator & blogger, she shares her rapturous love of wine by illuminating our prestigious portfolio, taking our valued customers on vinous journeys of delicious discovery.

Shana Cameron

Shana keeps the Dhall & Nash cogs turning smoothly. A lot happens in the background for us to run as efficiently as we do and Shana is the driving force behind this. With a background in media and marketing, Shana knows how to organise, plan and liaise with the team and the customers to keep everyone happy.

Sweetha has extensive experience in Operations Management Accounting, Logistics and Administration. Having worked in global organisations, Sweetha brings in the much desired experience in establishing and maintaining financial policies that strengthen business performance.

Laura Demarco
INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Laura hails from the multicultural paradise of Brazil! Their loss – Dhall & Nash’s gain! With her Engineering degree and AN international business diploma, she’s a multi-talented asset to our team. Her skills and expertise have become invaluable as our International Logistics Coordinator and fine-tuning our internal processes systems. Being from tropical Brazil, she loves drinking fresh, luscious white wines, especially Pinot Gris and Chardonnay!

Zoe Bourvis
