Dhall & Nash Fine Wines was founded by Puneet Dhall and Brandon Nash in 2007. With over four collective decades in the global wine trade, Dhall & Nash source the finest wines from around the planet and deliver them straight to you.
We aim to provide the highest level of service to our customers and there are hundreds of wines for you to choose from. Choosing the best with you is both our passion and expertise. Our unique sourcing method unearths the greatest wines – a diverse and exclusive array of delicious treats, including the likes of Bogle, Maison Ogier and Billecart-Salmon.

Meet The Team
Puneet Dhall
Puneet completed the Certificate in Wine Making and Grape Growing at Hawke’s Bay E.I.T. After a stint in the Cellar at Sacred Hill, he spent several years as a merchant in London working at “Fine and Rare Wines” – a foremost wine brokerage firm with an international clientele.
Brandon Nash
Brandon has a Bachelor’s Degree in Viticulture from E.I.T in Hawke’s Bay and served with Craggy Range for several years before starting Dhall & Nash. An authority to note for many events including masterclasses and presentations across the country’s most successful bars and restaurants, Brandon also regularly judges at Wine Shows across NZ, such as the Hawke’s Bay and Air NZ Wine Awards.
Aliénor Moreau
Aliénor comes from Pauillac, the birthplace of Bordeaux Grand Cru Classé wines. Her passion for wine is inherited from her father, a French master of vines. Her early experience in winemaking transitioned well into wine sales roles. Since moving to NZ, Aliénor reckons she drinks more Champagne than she did back in France, and puts it down to the bubbly kiwi culture! You’ll often find Aliénor in the kitchen, she is a keen cook and loves the experience of perfect wine and food pairing.
Nigel Kelly
With 35 years in the Hospitality industry, Nigel is a lover of fine wine, food and Whisky. Auckland born and bred, but lucky to have travelled extensively through Europe, as well as his two favourite places: Egypt and Cuba. In his spare time, Nigel goes surfing, mountain biking and practice the gentle art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Stephanie Brooke
Based in Mount Maunganui, Stephanie is all about three things: fine food, fine wine and good negronis. (A woman after our own hearts). Stephanie grew up around vineyards and wineries her whole life, first near Cape Town in SA then in Melbourne, which instilled a strong interest in the industry. She brings with her a strong background in hospitality, sales and education, which coupled with her personal enthusiasm for all things drinkable makes her invaluable! She is particularly passionate about making wine accessible and not intimidating, so whether you know nothing or everything, she’s up for a chat. When not popping the corks or on the road, (it’s a big territory!) you’ll find Stephanie at the beach, rain or shine!
Matt King
Originally hailing from the South of England, Matt has almost 15 years experience working in hospitality and fine wine retail in the U.K. and New Zealand. Matt has a broad and diverse wine palate but with particular excitement for all things Italian. New to the Canterbury region, Matt is looking forward to exploring all the region has to offer.
Owen Wood
Owen is based in beautiful Arrowtown, covering Otago & Southland. With 40 years experience in the hospitality & wine industry in Australia, NZ, France, and the UK, Owen has a wealth of knowledge for wine buyers to tap into. An appreciator of all wine but particularly partial to Chardonnay, Champagne, and Portuguese table wines.
Jean-Jacques Bourvis
Jean-Jacques is French. Say no more! His passion for wine and hospitality combined with his indomitable personality make JJ a tour de force! Jean-Jacques has owned or been involved in the Auckland Restaurant scene for several decades.
Sonja Anich
Sonja has over 30 years of international and national hospitality experience in curating wine lists, wine education, wine sales and even in the kitchen cheffing! As our wine content writer, educator & blogger, she shares her rapturous love of wine by illuminating our prestigious portfolio, taking our valued customers on vinous journeys of delicious discovery. “Obviously ALL wines inspire me – but I have a particular affinity to chardonnay!”
Aimée Hopwood
Aimée is an AUT Design Graduate and our in-house Graphic Designer. She specialises in making everything that we present as beautiful as the wines we sell. She enjoys sparkling wines and refreshing, crisp whites among friends.
Chris Tan
Chris has over twenty years experience in the wine and hospitality industry, mostly as a patron (but it still counts as experience). Raised by computers and grown in a vat, Chris comes from a media background that’s previously includes film, design, stage production, programming and writing silly biographies in the third person.
Shana Cameron
Shana keeps the Dhall & Nash cogs turning smoothly. A lot happens in the background for us to run as efficiently as we do and Shana is the driving force behind this. With a background in media and marketing, Shana knows how to organise, plan and liaise with the team and the customers to keep everyone happy.
Jyoti Madhar
Our Finance Controller, Jyoti, is one smart cookie when it comes to numbers. Originally from Northern Punjab, Jyoti is a graduate of GNDU & has completed her Masters of Business Administration with her area of expertise being in Finance. Jyoti is a Provisional Member of CAANZ and is now well on her way to finishing her studies for Chartered Accountancy. As an avid cook, we hope Jyoti will bring some delicious dishes to the office so we can pair them with divine D&N wines!
Sian Allen
Cassio Zadra
Cassio is a logistics whiz – doing his postgrad in Food and Beverage Management, he has over 11 years experience in the F&B industry. Cassio worked his way up from a trainee in a small 20-store outfit to supply chain coordinator for one of Brazil’s largest food and beverage companies, with 700 stores countrywide. How lucky are we at D&N to have his expertise here. Originally from bustling Brazil, it was always his dream to experience living abroad, so after a lot of planning, he & his wife made the sound decision to settle in New Zealand! Not only does he have a passion for logistics and supply chain management, but Cassio also loves playing sports, hiking & camping. Obviously, he needs to quench his thirst with some amazing D&N wines after an exhausting hike – his firm favourites being Chardonnay & Syrah!
Colin Hodgkinson
