This PX Manhattan Cocktail (or Pedro Manhattan) is a wild twist on the classic recipe.
Using Fernando de Castilla’s Pedro Ximénez Sherry (known simply as PX) like a sweet vermouth, to add a more fragrant fruit-forward, approachable style to the classic and timeless Manhattan cocktail.
Experiment with your levels of dry vermouth to balance out the sweetness of the Sherry.
PX Manhattan - Cocktail Recipe
Ingredients
- Fernando De Castilla Pedro Ximénez Classic Sherry
- Bourbon/Rye Whiskey
- Dry Vermouth
- Garnish: Candied Fig & Orange Twist
Instructions
- Pour the Pedro Ximénez Sherry, Dry Vermouth and Bourbon (or Rye Whiskey) into a shaker
- Fill with ice and stir
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass
- Garnish with a Candied Fig in and Orange Twist
