CLEVEDON VINEYARD
Clevedon Vineyard is a labour of love and laughter – elements also well depicted in their beautifully handmade wines. Captivated by the Il Monticello whilst driving down Munros Road, owners Andy and Nichole simply had to make it theirs.
Planted over 2 decades ago, this single-vineyard estate produces Pinot Noir, Syrah, Rosé and the Northern Italian varietal, Arneis. The land sprawls some 50 acres including stunning bush-lined valley and is centered around an authentic Italian Villa – Il Monticello (‘The Hill’). The northerly aspect captures all day sunshine giving this boutique vineyard a higher than regional average climate. Coupled with clay based soil it is as unique as it is remarkable.
