Gallery: Puneet Visits Calvert Vineyard

Calvert Vineyard (organic) has been producing coveted fruit that the likes of NZ legends Felton Road, Craggy Range & Pyramid Valley have all used in the past to make renowned lines of award-winning wines, and now, Calvert’s coming home!

Owen Calvert – the owner of Calvert vineyard – has been one of the leading agriculturalists and horticulturalists for the developing world, helping governments and farmers in Sudan and Bangladesh to handle ongoing issues but he’s always kept a slice of home in the form of this Bannockburn vineyard.

Now, with help from winemaker Sarah Burton (ex Cloudy Bay) Owen is making his own Pinot from his family’s block.

In March, Puneet paid a visit to this legendary vineyard ahead of its 2026 harvest.
