We are looking for a..




We’re building our Stranger & Sons Gin team in New Zealand and we’ve got our third eye on the lookout for a part-time Brand Ambassador.



A gin enthusiast.

An experienced and renowned mixologist.

Someone passionate and meticulous about their craft.

A mixologist who wants to create a bigger impact across the trade industry.

An individual fluent in English.



The primary functions of this position include being the face and authority of the brand and other premium spirits and bar culture: To be the authority on brand and production education and drink strategy.

In performing the essential functions of this role, the work environment is fast-paced. It will require both the ability to work flexibly within a team environment as well as working independently while managing your other commitments.



Essential duties and responsibilities include the following and others as assigned:

  • Gain new distribution points and cocktail listings for Stranger and Sons based on the approved lists
  • Create & manage relationships with key stakeholders (sales distributor, trade and consumers)
  • Offer effective support to the sales team to increase sales into key accounts
  • Be the main point of contact for the trade to any Stranger And Sons related enquiries
  • Support market penetration and review each event & activation to help to improve protocol and maintain best practice
  • Represent your brand and reflect its genuine core values and to tirelessly reflect its premium quality and positioning
  • Be the cocktail and spirits ‘guru’ for the Brand and experts on all aspects of bar culture and mixology
  • Research different markets extensively and visit and experience new bars/restaurants/hotels to understand market trends and forecast upcoming trends
  • Drive your brand to be at the cutting edge of mixology and cuisine by pioneering new concepts in line with global strategies whilst integrating the brand peerless qualities (e.g. cocktail/food pairings, inspired cocktail competitions)
  • Continuously engage with the top of the trade to build brand loyalty
  • Work with local resources to ensure that all events are executed seamlessly and in accordance with brand principles and core values
